The GGN Marketplace was written from the ground-up to directly challenge the eAuction way of buying and selling.

As it is a 100% demand-based marketplace the buyers simply list everything they want, including importing their Wish Lists from Amazon.com. Other users can either enter new Wants of their own or indicate they want something already in our system. Users may be as specific or general about their Want as possible - the flexibility of the Want process is outstanding.
As we are demand-driven, nothing can be sold through the marketplace unless there is prior demand for it... period. This marketplace will never get filled with junk items and useless goods that end up stuffing our landfills!
As all purchases go through the marketplace maintainer, the buyer's money is protected until the seller provides a tracking number.
As eBay and other sites are plagued with problematic sellers charging $12 shipping for a DVD, the GGN Marketplace fights back in that every offer price includes shipping.
Aggregate demand data is among the most sought-after in the world! Not only does the GGN Marketplace provide an idea of what sells and what can't be found, it provides a glimpse into what people really want.
